What Simon thinks

I have to admit , I’m not fully sure but here’s my - possibly random - thoughts.

He did hate Apple ( in the 90s) and then he loved them and we changed everything to Apple and ignored everything else …. Anyone who didn’t use it were, he seemed to imply, imbeciles.

Now he hates Apple and Microsoft and maybe others that I don’t know the name of … Now it’s all about Lennox. That’s the way forward. He did tell me lots about it but I didn’t fully understand; sometimes I pretended to agree so I no longer had to listen… sorry Simon !

In short, Simon seems to think that Big Tech - I’ve probably got the wrong term - is , at best, profiteering and at worst quite sinister. He also thinks that society has willingly walked into a situation where Big Tech own all our data and could use it against us … I think ?

He wants us to sort of lock down our tech so our data is safe ?

All I want is a phone and computer that work. I don’t care who has my data as it’s all just boring work stuff .
